For the past four years I have been working on a novel called Reasons for Realism. Not my first one and hopefully not the last one. But this one made it to the finishing line, unlike my other attempts.
With Reasons for Realism, I have tried to write an accessible literary novel with a dystopian element. The chapters alternate between two strong female lead characters. The novel will appeal to fans who like literary dystopian novels like George Orwell's 1984, Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale, Liz Jensen's Rapture and Jeanette Winterson's The Stone Gods.
